Jose Leon, Service Manager

After serving four years in the United States Marine Corps with the 1^st Marine Division, Jose Leon began his career at Stellar Solar as a ground mounted systems installer. While installing, he used his GI Bill and began pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Mira Costa College. He used the knowledge he gained while serving in the military and going through college to create the frame work of Stellar Solar’s service department. Jose helped close the gap between a phone call and a service visit by a lot so much so that the service department is now able to offer the same stellar care provided to our original installations to third party installations as well! Jose’s passion for emerging and innovative technology has created a culture of adaptability in the service department ensuring Stellar Solar is always ready service new and future solar technology, including batteries.

Jose Leon was born in Nacogdoches, Texas and raised in Lynn, MA 15 minutes north of Boston. He was honorably discharged from the Marines in 2015 and has been working in the solar industry ever since. Jose holds an A.A in Business Administration an A.S in Accounting, a certificate of achievement in accounting, and is lean six sigma certified. Jose is currently pursuing a bachelors in Business Management: Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Marcos. When not in school or taking a course, Jose can be found reading, camping, hiking one of the many trails in San Diego County with his wife, three year old son and two dogs Odin & Xena.
